Police fire water canons to disperse Anwar's supporters

KUALA LUMPUR, Wed:
Police had to use water cannons to disperse some 700 supporters of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim who had gathered along Jalan Hang Tuah and had refused to budge.
The crowd had started gathering minutes after Anwar was arrested and brought to the city police head quarters yesterday afternoon.They were kept at bay by police and Federal Reserve Unit for much of the day. At about 11.30pm, police ordered the crowd to disperse and when they refuse to move, several warning shots were fired from the water cannons.The crowd were pushed back to the Berjaya Times Square at Jalan Imbi.Several of the supporters then got into their cars and drove through the police roadblock at Jalan Hang Tuah.
They were obstructed by some 50 police personnel who forced them to turn around.Several Parti Keadilan Rakyat members then advised the supporters to go home and rest and to be back at the city police headquarters at 7am today.No other incidents were reported.

Thats is abriza...my a-levels and ncuk classmate who passed away on 7 July 2008 after being admitted to PPUM on 7th May 2008 suffering from cervix cancer. Among the best in our class...always being refered to for any problems be it on syllabus or personal. Kak long in her family and kak long also in our group. Semoga Allah mengurniakan keampunan dan rahmatnya ke atas mu. Alfatihah.

dump economist, stupid politician

i would like to give some comments with regards to the latest move by our yet to be late Prime Minister to increase the oil price by some 40%. although he claimed that the price is still the cheapest in asia, especially as compared to Singapore and Thailand, both countries have only to worry about hiking fuel price and none of the toll price. when we say the cheapest in asia we have to compare to their value for money and general salary line. The move to increase the price is made over night but the increase in salary cannot happen over night. alot of company owners and Treasurer to the Government need to be convince to increase the salary.

What ever it is this is not the best time for the sick politician to pinch rakyat pocket. it is the time for him to re-gain public confident in him no matter what. with regard to the economic move, disturbing the 3 vital economic pillar will spur inflation, ie. the fuel, the labour and the capital. and it is dump for the minister in the respective departments to ask the trader not to increase their prices. the minister is asking the traders to absorb the high cost while the traders are not the richest of all, the government is richer than the traders but yet asked to absorb the cost. UNBELIEVEABLLY DUMP AND STUPID ACTION.

my father passed away

my beloved father, Abd Razak bin Md Arif has passed away due to lung cancer on 30th May 2008 at 1138 pm, at the age of 62 in Gerik Perak. I got phone call from my brother Nan at 1145 that father has gone while i was reading yassin for him. I am gratefull and redha that he is no more in pain of that cancer that has been there for about 1 month. he has great influence on me, on my behaviour, on my wisdom and struggle, talent that me and my childern have inherited. He was a great man. I miss him so much. more than anyone else in this whole world can think of.
