R = I call you to ask you why you send this memo on sand to me.
P = I send this memo to you as per your instruction to vacate my post as Head of Asset Management. This memo is my note of handing over but i am doing it in stages for all the land bank.
R = Dont be emotional for me to remove you from this post as i have to do it because you are not well and over a long MC and the work have to continue. So we place En Fadzil Manaf to replace you.
R = why you concern about this 33 acres of land. You should be concern about the 7000 acres of land that is not managed well.
P = yes this land is small as compared to the 7000 acres of land awarded to Southern Hock Joo. As part of my handing over programme i have started visiting Kota Seriemas land first because it is the nearest. That was on 4.2.2015 after i resume to work. After this meeting with you i will visit KSL and old lunderston and the report follow soon. From my visit i think Hock Joo has started to clean up the estate progressively. They need time to show good result. Over the visit to KSE I found that CT Golf is doing something different from what was awarded to them.
R = what do you mean that they have done something different from what have been awarded to them?
P = They were awarded the land to plant nursery for grass turfing. Instead the land was being excavated for sand. Thats a clear breach of contract and can be terminated.
R = Do you know that for doing the grass nursery they need to level the land and make the platform suitable for grass turfing. They also need pond to water the grass.
P = They are creating big pond. How they going to fill back the pond.
R = They will fill back the pond at the end of the tenancy with suitable earth. Do you know that the sand is not suitable for development. We will save money when they help us to remove the sand and fill back with suitable earth.
P = But they have never written to us to apply for our approval and lay down their plan how to do their work.
R = You can ask CT Golf to submit letter explaining their plan.
P = Another thing. Their permit from Land Office has also expired on 10/9/2014. But they are still operating on site.
R = No. They have permit extension. You can call CT Golf to get copy of the permit extension.
P = Okay. I will contact CT Golf to ask for the extended permit and for the letter of explanation of their make good plan. Thank you.
